Eaton loses in Jersey qualifier ![]()
Great Britain Davis Cup player Chris Eaton has been knocked out in the qualifying round of Jersey's $50,000 ATP tournament.
Eaton, the world number 384 and second seed in the qualifiers, went down 6-3, 4-6, 4-6 to Dutch player Igor Sijsling at Les Ormes on Monday.
All four of the men's top seeds failed to make it through.
Top seed Australia's Samuel Groth was beaten while third seed Pierre Metenier lost to Britain's Jonathan Marray.
In the qualifiers for the women's $25,000 singles all but one of the 16 seeds have made it through to the final round.
